In celebration of Saint-Michael, the Grand Priory of Spain OSMTH-MM under Grand Prior Fr+ Francisco José Fernandez Nieto Caballero, promoted an International Congress in the city of Toledo, Spain that was attended by over 50 Knights and Dames from a dozen different branches of the Order.

Along the three days of the event, the problems contemplating the Order today were discussed, with many references to the divided nature of the current organizations and the special need to find ways to cooperate and build bridges of common understanding.

The OSMTHU was represented by Fr+ José Miguel Navarro, Grand Prior of Spain and Seneschal of the OSMTHU Magisterial Council, in representation of Master Fr+ Antonio Paris and the Portuguese delegation, headed by Commander Fr+ Victor Varela Martins and two other members, in representation of the Portuguese Grand Prior Fr+ Luis de Matos.

The final result was very positive and it is expected that a new Congress will take place in 2024 to build on the many points of agreement reached in Toledo. The OSMTHU wishes to congratulate Fr+ Francisco José and his Grand Priory for his work and leadership.
